What to do: Centrelink assigns you to a provider automatically — if yours isn't working, you can switch. Ask for an Indigenous employment program like Employment Services Indigenous or Vocational Training & Employment Centre (VTEC). Providers must allow Aboriginal-specific appointment arrangements.
You can change providers if yours isn’t culturally safe or helpful. Ring 1800 805 260 and ask about switching. For Aboriginal-specific employment support, ask about CDP successor programs and local VTEC placements in Mildura or Swan Hill.
