What to do: Ring 13 12 78 if you have concerns about a child outside business hours. In business hours ring the regional Child Protection intake. **If you're a family already in the system, always ring VACCA (1800 436 650) for advocacy before speaking to Child Protection.**
If Child Protection contacts you, you have the right to have a support person and to seek legal advice before speaking. Ring VACCA (1800 436 650) and VALS (1800 064 865) before any meeting.
